Our Design Process

At AC3 Design Studio, we believe great design is a process—not just a product. We guide you through each phase with creativity, clarity, and care to ensure your space reflects your unique lifestyle and vision.
1. Onboarding
Before our first meeting, we’ll ask you (and anyone involved in the decision-making) to complete a New Client Questionnaire and share inspiration on a Pinterest board. This gives us a strong foundation to understand your style, needs, and goals.
We’ll then schedule an in-home consultation to walk through the space, review your vision, take “before” photos, and gather measurements—setting the stage for your custom design concept.
2. Design & Sourcing
Once your concept is approved, we begin sourcing based on your project scope:
For renovations or new construction, we collaborate with your contractor to select finishes like tile, flooring, cabinetry, and more.
For furnishings and decor, we create presentation boards featuring curated selections of furniture, fabrics, lighting, paint, and accessories.
3. Presentation
With your design fully developed, we’ll meet to present a comprehensive design board, floor plans, and material samples. You’ll be able to touch, see, and experience your future space. One round of revisions is included to fine-tune any final details.
4. Procurement
Once approved, we’ll handle ordering from both retailers and trade-only vendors. Items can ship directly to your home or to a local warehouse where they’re inspected and stored until installation.
During this time, we’ll coordinate any trade work—painting, wallpapering, custom carpentry, or other installations—to prepare your space.
5. Installation
The big day! We oversee the delivery and placement of every piece, adding final touches and styling accessories to bring your vision to life.
After installation, we’ll schedule a professional photo shoot to capture the transformation and celebrate your beautiful new space.
